Profile: Two years ago this coming summer, I decided that enough was enough - I was learning to surf. Instead of renting boards (as I had been doing about once per year for many many years), I bought 2 mini-mals for $100 at a pawn shop. I've made the 3 hour drive to Assateague probably 20 times since then, and I can now catch waves (if they are present!). I just bought a 6'2" fish and a 9' longboard to round out my collection, and I am very excited to try them out! I think I'll start surfing in the cold cold water sometime in March of this year...
